North Star was first
established in July 2000 with over 15 years experience in
the cleaning industry. We are a family run business managed
by Karen and Gary North and we provide our own bespoke service
for every individual client.
We specialise in cleaning services for both Residential and
Commercial clients throughout South-East London, Essex, Surrey, Sussex and the Kent Regions, specifically serving local contracts in Medway (Strood, Chatham, Rochester, Gillingham), Maidstone, Kings Hill, Sittingbourne, Iwade, Faversham, Folkestone, Canterbury and Isle of Sheppey.

as a full member of the National Carpet Cleaners Association,
No. 1068, in recognition of our high standards and knowledge
in the cleaning industry.
Our
success in the Commercial sector is a testimony to our flexible
approach and tailor made service to suit each client. We provide
telephone emergency assistance (24 hours) and where an emergency
situation arises, we can send one of our operators to your door
the same day.
We also provide a specialist
service in the way of fire and flood damage, to include survey/report,
liaison directly with the Insurers/Loss Adjusters and a disaster
restoration clean-up team.
Yearly office contracts can
be agreed at special rates (please ask for details of our loyalty
discount scheme).
North Star specialise in carpet and upholstery cleaning. We also provide dry cleaning of curtains (in-situ), "stain guard" protection for carpets and upholstery, sparkle and building cleans.
Whether you need a "spring clean" to include washing ceilings, walls, skirting boards etc, or simply a maintenance clean, then we can provide you with a free quotation upon request. We provide approximately 8-10 different levels of cleaning under the category of "spring cleaning" and it is therefore necessary for us to carry out a survey/quotation on-site prior to the work being carried out.
Karen and Gary's specialist
knowledge extends to leather
renovation to upholstery, oriental and chinese
rug cleaning, rug re-fringing and re-binding service on request, retufting repairs to hessian
or woven backed carpets. For larger damaged areas of carpet, they
can provide patch insertions and can reseam and restretch carpets where required.
We now sell gift vouchers in
denominations of £25. These make
