Disaster Cleaning can be very strenuous and can take a lot of strength of character and understanding, particularly as there may be a valid reason as to why the situation is so out of control.  We never judge we are just there to help.

We were delighted to be able to help someone in real need of our services who was just unable to tackle the situation themselves being that they were struggling with mental issues.  To alleviate the stress and anxiety of them not knowing which way to turn and whom to entrust with the living conditions they found themselves in, they let us help them in getting everything back in order.  We tackled all of the deep cleaning issues and even helped with sorting through rubbish and disposal of unwanted items that had probably been left there for some time.  It can be quite over whelming when you view everything and it all looks just a big mess but we tackled through each area and we can honestly say it was well worth it!  The results were amazing from start to finish and it smelt and looked so much cleaner.  Our client was so happy they even bought us a box of biscuits to say thank you and wanted to know about future maintenance cleaning too!

A massive thank you to our dedicated team in taking on this project and a job very well done.

If you know someone who is in desperate need of our help please get in touch and we will be happy to offer a free survey no matter what the circumstance.  Our aim is to get the property back on track and to a good standard of cleanliness and enable that person to create a healthier and happier living condition for themselves.

Memory Walk in Canterbury

North Star were proud to represent a memory walk in support of Alzheimer’s Society. When you speak to people you just find out how many people this affects and it was heart warming to see the level of support from all those whom took part on 02.09.17

We have asked friends, family and colleagues to support this event and we are also going to be sending our own company donation on 11th September. Any persons wishing to contribute towards this can send their cheque donations to our office made payable to the Alzheimer’s Society and we will send these off for you.

Who gets dementia? There are currently around 850,000 people in the UK with dementia. It mainly affects people over the age of 65 (one in 14 people in this age group have dementia), and the likelihood of developing dementia increases significantly with age. However, dementia can affect younger people too. There are more than 42,000 people in the UK under 65 with dementia.

Thanks for all your support!

We have been completing many assignments throughout August for schools, offices and churches. It can cause a lot of upheaval having to replace a floor or even sand it back and polish it and without the correct tools and capability it could be a tedious task. Many customers choose the stripping and sealant option as a way of saving less disruption and money to the running of their business or home.

We recently undertook a large project for Demelza on some newly acquired premises, here are some photos of our work in progress.
